Perfect weather conditions greeted those who competed in the annual BOPSS Triathlon event yesterday.
Over 130 athletes from 12 Bay of Plenty Schools competed either as individuals or in teams of 2 or 3. There were four age group catagories including U13, U14, U16 and U19's all with varying distances for the Swim, Run and Bike ride.
Well done to all those who took part and congratulations to the place getters, there were some amazing young athletes out there.
A big thank you to Paul from Tri Tauranga and his team from other local Triathlon clubs who ran the event for schools.
