Activities at Homes
Keen to keep the kids moving and entertained on a rainy day? Looking for ideas to pull your family away from screen time. We've put together loads of games and resources to help you keep the whole whanau active in and around the home.
Healthy Lifestyle Programmes
If you're needing support to incorporate more physical activity into life, then our health team is here to help. Working with local GPs we offer a six-month Green Prescription Programme or up to 12 month Active Families programme. We also have loads of tips for pregnant and new mums.
Activities for Seniors
Falls are one of the most common and costly injuries for people over 65. Keep on Your Feet strength and balance classes help reduce the risk of falls, and ensure seniors can live stronger for longer.
If you're new to biking or you haven't ridden in a long time then we can help! Our Cycle Savvy courses help you master the basics of bike handling and cycle safety. We also offer Ride Leader courses for regular cyclists who are keen to lead a local cycling group.
Water Safety in the Bay of Plenty
Water Safety New Zealand has worked with a wide range of individuals and groups across the Bay of Plenty to develop the Bay of Plenty Water Safety Strategy. We're now supporting the key priorities of that strategy to help grow a strong water sfatey culture in the Bay of Plenty.
