The wet weather cleared just in time to hold the annual BOP / Mid Island Cross Country event at Waipuna Park yesterday, with the top runners from schools around the Bay of Plenty competing against each other in some well contested races.
The year 9 girls/boys and junior girls all completed the 3km course, junior boys and senior girls the 4km course and the senior boys a massive 6kms.
Well done to all those who took part. And a huge thanks to Tauranga Boys College who hosted the event and did a fantastic job making sure the event ran smoothly.
