RATS Duathlon 2022
Close to 300 participants entered in the RATS Duathlon held at Waipa MTB Park, Redwoods on Wednesday 2nd November.
With the change in date due to covid, numbers were down from previous years, however to cancel was not an option but a postponement to Term 4.
Event Organiser Grant Utteridge and his team were fantastic in setting up a quality course for our schools to enjoy.
A big thank you to all our MCs, Marshalls, the sponsors, Toi Ohomai for giving support with the BBQ, Trail Kitchen, parents and teachers, sports coordinators and to all our students for attending.
Special mentions go to Casey (Lynmore School), Nate and Carter (Mokoia Intermediate) for showing great sportsmanship by helping out fellow students along the course. Tino pai!
