Success Story

Redwoods Goosechase.

This year Sport BOP purchased the rights to use an app called Goosechase to use on the Gem Sites during the April school holiday period.

Ohope Beach Goosechase.

Goosechase is an Amazing Race-style app where you can create unique games via a range of missions. Teams then complete these fun missions to collect points while competing against other teams for the top score.

Three locations across the BOP were chosen: the Redwoods/Whakarewarewa Forest in Rotorua, McLaren Falls Park in Tauranga, and the Fairbrother Loop, Ohope. Each game was available for the duration of the school holidays (April 14-30).

McLaren Falls Goosechase.

It was popular as it proved to be fun for all ages, so families could get active together using this app.
