CBOP Have a Go Fun 4 U Day

Results

The Fun 4 U Day was a hit for local Year 2 and 3 tamariki who participated in the fun day held at Jackson Park on Wednesday 21 February. Schools who attended thoroughly enjoyed the day and the activities that involved skill, instruction, and plenty of fun. This was a collaborative initiative between Sport Bay of Plenty and Rotorua Primary School Sports Coordinator Liz Savage to provide more opportunities for the younger age groups to participate in physical activity and be exposed to a variety of sporting codes.
A huge thank you to Halberg, Bay of Plenty Rugby, Rotorua Hockey, Ngongotaha Football Club, Youthtown NZ , Bay of Plenty Golf, and Netball Rotorua for facilitating stations and bringing the fun energy. Also thank you to Heather Baddley of Cofe2U who supplied refreshments throughout the day, and to our wonderful hosts Otonga School, the staff and student leaders for all your help and support for the event.
