Writing a submission for your council's Long Term Plan is not just useful but essential for clubs and community organisations. Through active participation in the council's decision-making processes, you can ensure your club's needs and aspirations are recognised and addressed.

We want to ensure that those in the sport and recreation sector have their say, so we’ve made the process of writing a submission easy. For the six Long Term Plan's that are being released by our region's councils (Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki, Tauranga City, Western Bay of Plenty, Rotorua, and Kawerau) we have created a toolkit that outlines the submission process including tips for writing a submission and key messages to include in your submission.

Use the toolkits to help you have your say.
