Sport
The Sport Team aims to enhance the effectiveness and capability of regional sport in the Bay of Plenty in a number of ways. We assist Regional Sporting Organisations (RSO's), clubs and schools to become more efficient and effective organisations in the delivery of sport. We work alongside them and assist to develop systems and structures that will ensure they achieve their goals and are sustainable in the future. This includes work on strategic plans, position descriptions for committees, project development with councils, coach development and volunteer training.

CLUB DEVELOPMENT
Sport Bay of Plenty aims to enhance the effectiveness and capability of the Bay of Plenty sport and recreation sector. Sport Development staff work alongside clubs and assist in the development of systems and structures that will ensure they achieve their goals and are sustainable in the future.

Connect Sport
In addition to the services offered by the sport and club development team, Sport Bay of Plenty are also involved in a project within the Katikati and Te Puke communities that aims to increase participation in sport through better connected communities. COACHING

SCHOOL SPORT
The School Sport Team works with sports in the administration and running of various Primary and Secondary school events across the Bay of Plenty region. We also work closely with school Sport Coordinators, teachers, coaches and community organisation to ensure the provision of quality sport and physical recreation experiences for young people.

KIWISPORT
