Free sports concussion workshop:

Confusion, concentration difficulty, vomiting and nausea, changes in vision and slurred speech - these are just a few of the vast list of symptoms a person can have when they suffer a concussion.

A free sports concussion workshop will be held in March, when players coaches and parents can find out what happens to our brain and body when concussed; How to recognise concussion; What should be done when athletes/kids are concussed and What can be done to reduce the risks of concussion.

Those attending the event, run by ACC SportSmart and Bureta Physio + Wellness, will be able to take home concussion resources.

Free 'All Things Men's Health' event

For all the men who want to learn how to increase vitality, stay in good health and optimise time, and the women who want to support the men in their lives - the Men's Wellness Night is a one-stop shop.

Bureta Physiotherapist Blair Jarratt and Life Coach Anna Veale from Fresh Coaching NZ will talk about 'All Things Men's Health' at their free event next month.

Spaces are limited - registrations are a must.
