Tauranga City Council  Small Projects Investment Fund (SPIF)

Tauranga City Council  Small Projects Investment Fund (SPIF). Tauranga City Council supports events that can show a path to self-sustainability.

Applications are now open until Monday 22nd April, 2pm for events occurring after the 1st July 2013.  

All applications must meet the funding objectives:

To increase participation in projects in Tauranga.

To widen the range of projects available in Tauranga.

To celebrate cultural diversity.

To enhance and strength the community. 

The underlying rules are:

$250 minimum grant, $1,000 maximum grant. Any grant shall be 25% of the total project cost or less, subject to the maximum grant of $1,000.

There is no retrospective funding and any event that will be staged within two months of the closing date for applications (before 1st July 2013) will be ineligible.

All applicants must contact either Creative Tauranga or Sport Bay of Plenty before applying independently. These agencies can provide advice on applications, look at the overall development of the event and recommend additional sources of funding. They will also need to certify your completed application form before it is submitted to Council.
