This year Netball Waikato Bay of Plenty celebrate 20 years of Magic netball.
In 1998 the zone teams were known as the Waikato Wildcats and the Bay of Plenty Magic. The two regions merged the following year to become the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
This year we recognise those 20 years and all the people involved to get us where we are today. On Wednesday 27 March we will be devoting our ANZ Premiership match at Trustpower Baypark to a celebration of the last 20 years of netball in our fantastic zone.
