Lisa Dangen: Operations Team Leader
Lisa is a vivacious personality and brings a light to the Sport Bay of Plenty offices whereever she goes.
No problem is too hard for Lisa, she's always got an answer (and if she doesn't she'll find it for you) AND she organises a mean morning tea shout!
The backbone of keeping things in order around the offices, learn a bit more about our Lisa:
Describe your role in on sentence?
My role as Operations Team leader is to support all staff with IT equipment & support, any vehicle purchase, distributing & general maintenance, Health & safety in & around our offices, supporting Administration Staff & all the Sport BOP resources & offices, liaising with suppliers and landlords.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job and why?
I love supporting staff and ensuring they are ready, feeling good and pumping to support the community.
What is the most challenging aspect and why?
The most challenging is getting around to all offices and staff, upskilling them in IT because everyone is on a different level and has different needs from IT.
When you’re not working at Sport BOP, what do you like to get up to?
I love being in the outdoors with family & friends when not at Sport BOP. Whether it is working in my garden or walking up the Mount to doing tramps or fishing. I say YES to anything.
If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
Having super muscles so I could help people fix housing after storms or earthquakes all around the world.
Anything you would like to add about yourself?
What I have learnt over the past five years is teenagers teach you resilience like you would not know until you have them!
