This year’s Amazing Race was held at the Tauranga/Wharepai Domain in fine but chilly conditions.

The students started from the main grandstand area, running to their team manager, “Le Mans Style” out on the rugby field to get their race pack with course instructions. They had a limited amount of time allocated to complete the clues in the course passport. All teams could choose the order they completed the course so several different strategies were adopted.

Record numbers took part in this year’s event which is always popular with the schools. Thanks to Julie and Dale from Quest 4 Fun for working with Sport BOP and setting up another great course this year. Another fantastic Amazing Race!
