46 teams from 11 Bay of Plenty Schools took part recently in the annual Manawaha Multisport Race.
It show cased Manawahe whilst letting students experience an introducation to adventure racing. The activities that the students participated in as part of the event had an environmental theme, such as weed busting, planting of a native tree and identifying the trees around them. Students enjoyed the variety of the mystery activities as well as the run and mountain bike challenge.
