This year we added some top juniors into the senior top division and the some student did step up, the seniors did extremely well to combat these upcoming juniors.

The girls division 1 very tight final with Hannah Walpole (Otumoetai College) beating Sophie Karl (Tauranga Girls College) in an exciting final both girls serving very well and good movement at the net and on the baseline. Third place went to the winner of the triathlon 2 days ago Sophie Webber well done.

The heat was a factor later that in the afternoon in the boys division 1 some tight rallies and some very big forehands from the boys finalist Carrigan Hartley (Tauranga Boys College) and Boaz Mellor(Taupo Nui A Tia College). Carrigan beating out Boaz with some big serves and good footwork around the net but Boaz combatted some very big forehands of his own and backhand to save some points but on the day was not good enough to take gold.

The doubles did have the biggest entries on both sides boys and girls. Some very exciting play from the girls from Otumoetai College Lisa Evans and Emily Mahon taking out the girls main doubles and Manuel Schirmer and Nicolas Ahrens (Tauranga Boys College) big serving form the boys and some very good net action taking out the boys doubles
