Quick-Rip-Festival

Gordon Spratt Reserve, Papamoa, was sounding out with cheers of support for the 2017 Quick Rip Festival, as 53 Western Bay of Plenty school teams from seven schools took part in the annual event.

The Quick Rip game is easy to learn, with simple skills. Promoting excellent ball handling and running skills the game gives players of all capabilities a chance to participate in. Quick Rip is a variation of Rippa Rugby but introduces non-contested scrums, lineouts and the ability to kick the ball.

Congratulations to everyone on games well played, and thanks to Bay of Plenty Rugby for organising such a great event.
