Photo Gallery || Rotorua Mini Marathon
Close to 3000 primary and intermediate-aged children from the Central and Western Bay of Plenty took part in the Rotorua Mini Marathon event held at the Rotorua Energy Events Centre on Friday, May 7.
There was a lot of excitement and nerves from tamariki, who were eager to get started once the siren went off at 10.30am and plenty of support from teachers, parents and other whānau members also taking part in the event.
All children who took part were to receive a Certificate of Participation on completing via their school, and were also given the opportunity to take home a spot prize at the end of the day.
