Open invite to mobile holiday programme planning

REAP

Eastbay REAP (Rural Education Activities Programme) is holding a planning hui tomorrow, 21 Pyne St, Whakatane at 4pm, about the development of a mobile holiday programme.

A range of topics will be up for discussion, exploring where the need for certain types of programmes is greatest. Activities up for discussion include:
• Pool activities
• Sport Days, supported by Awanuiarangi sport students as facilitators and Sport BOP
• Art and craft sessions alongside Liberty Church and ECE partners
• Science kits from East Bay REAP House of Science crew
• Digital programmes through Awanuiarangi techies (Tech Pa).

Eastbay REAP is an education-focused community and social development organisation established by the Ministry of Education.

It responds to the needs of the community across the early childhood, school, adult and community education sectors, covering the eastern Bay of Plenty region from Ruatāhuna to Matata and eastward to Cape Runaway.
