Mama Awhi programme in Rotorua

Rotorua Plunket is hoping to start a post-natal exercise programme for first time parents. The Mama Awhi programme is a free four week workshop starting Monday 10 June from 1pm. The programme includes:

  • Getting started with exercise
  • Wellbeing and looking after yourself
  • Nutrition
  • An exercise session each week. Eg. with a personal training taster from a registered post-natal trainer.

Spaces are limited and registration is essential.

Exercise classes for pregnant women

Rotorua Aquatic Centre has also launched a Aqua Mums class for pregnant women. Running every Thursday from 12pm, the 45 minute classes take pregnant women through safe aqua exercises to support you and your baby. Registrations essential.
