KiwiSport - Applications OPEN

Applications are now open and close: 4.00pm 23rd August 2013. No late applications will be accepted.
What is KiwiSport?
KiwiSport funding is intended to assist community-based providers of organised sport for young people
with very specific purposes:
To increase the number of school-aged children participating in organised sport – during school, after school and by strengthening links with sports clubs;
To increase the availability and accessibility of sport opportunities for all school-aged children to participate in organised sport; and
To support children in developing skills that will enable them to participate effectively in organised sport.
CONTESTABLE FUNDS:
Major Project Fund ($270,000 per annum)
Projects must demonstrate collaboration and /or reduce duplication of services, and have at least four partners involved. Click here to read more.
Please note: multi-year projects approved in year 1 may reduce the funding available for major projects years 2-3.
KickStart Fund ($25,000 per sub region)
A fund is available in each of the three sub regions for ‘smaller’ initiatives (up to $2,000) that assist in the achievement of the objectives of KiwiSport. Click here to read more.
