Challenge yourself with New Zealand's toughest mountain race - the Kawerau King of the Mountain. Standard entries close October 24.

The Kawerau King of the Mountain race is approximately a seven kilometre up and down Putauaki (Mt. Edgecumbe). Established in 1995, the race is dubbed one of the toughest mountain race events in the country.
Race day is Saturday 27 October. The four kilometre 2018 Prince and Princess of the Mountain Race in the lower foothills, for 9-13 year-olds, will be held at 11am. Standard entries close 24 October. There's a limit of 200 competitors and all entries must be pre-entered.
