ECHO Walking Festival launches 2018 programme
Monday, January 22, 2018
The 2018 ECHO Festival programme is now live, with walking events beginning Saturday 7 April and finishing Sunday 22.
Founded in 2003, the ECHO Walking Festival is organised by town promoters and district coordinators in participating towns and districts across the Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
Through the Festival, the aim is to encourage all New Zealanders to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, to appreciate the attractions of our regions, and to keep fit and active.
Locally, there are a number of walks around Katikati and Waihi Beach, as well as further afield in Waihi, Te Aroha and Thames/Coromandel.
This year organisers have included a great selection of walks with something for everyone... younger, older, strollers, trampers, foodies, kids and even dogs!
