EBOP Primary Schools Touch Tournament Results

KPS Steamers Yr 5&6 Touch Team

24 teams from throughout the Eastern Bay of Plenty took part in the annual Primary Schools Touch Tournament at Whakatane’s Rex Morpeth Park.

St Joseph’s Whakatane were dominant in the Year 7&8 Grade winning all their round robin games and then winning the final against a strong Taneatua side. Taneatua took out the final of the year 3&4 over Apanui School while Kawerau Putauaki and St Joseph’s battled it out, ending in a draw with Putauaki taking the first try and ultimately winning their grade.
