Club Rugby for Women
Wednesday, February 17, 2016

Bay of Plenty Rugby Union is passionate about providing exciting opportunities for female athletes to play the game of rugby and creating viable pathways to the representative level.
The upcoming 2016 rugby season sees local teams kicking into their musters and preseason trainings in preparation for the Baywide club competition, providing an opportunity for women of all levels to play.
Club rugby is also a pathway into our local representative teams, including the Bay of Plenty Volcanix and Bay of Plenty Women’s Sevens teams with potential pathways to the Black Ferns and NZ Women’s Sevens squads.
The BOP Women’s club season runs from May through to July with opportunities to play club sevens in October and November. Whether you have played in the past or this is a sport you would like to get involved in get along to a club near you.
