Central Bay Amazing Race 2021
282 students from years 5 to 8 from 12 schools within the Central Bay participated in the amazing race held on Wednesday 11th August 2021 at Kuirau Park.
Tower Build, Relay, Toy toss and The Memory Board were a few of the challenges our students encountered. A great day with loads of fun and our weather gods were true to form in bringing in the sunshine for an amazing day.
A huge Thank you to Jules and Dale of Quest4Fun for organising an awesome event.
To all our schools who participated and to our teachers, parents and caregivers who also took part in transport, managing of teams and for helping where it was needed.
Thank you also to Pita Pit for supplying staff and volunteers for lunch. Tino Pai!
A special mention to Rotokawa School for their help in volunteers, with 4 special young ladies. Alyvia Charity, Riana Cassin-Skipwith, Paige Ramson and Jade Leopard. These awesome young ladies showed great leadership, kindness and humour throughout the day. Thank you so much for all your help.
