BOP Cricket Rainbow World Cup

Fantastic weather and very hot conditions at teh Bay Oval yesterday fro the BOP Rainbow World Cup.  A great venue and a top event put on by Tai from BOP Cricket.

15 girls' teams took part in fancy dress and the girls really got into the swing of things. All were in great spirits throughout the day and four rounds of cricket were played.

There was lots of vocal support from each team with some enthusiastic cheerleading and cartwheels and handstands.

Green Park Diamonds were the top team of the day. St Thomas More 2nd, Matua Primary 3rd, Golden sands 1 4th, Green Park Gems 5th.

Most improved team was Te Puke Primary, Fair Play award to Tahatai School, Best Dressed Pillans Point Primary School.
