The Banff Mountain Film Festival, a celebration of outdoor adventures and extreme sports, is returning to the Bay of Plenty in June.
Hosted by the New Zealand Alpine Club, a not-for-profit chairty which promotes rock climbing, tramping and mountaineering in New Zealand, the film festival showcases short films and full-length features from around the world with a focus on testing the limits and exploring the undiscovered corners of the world.
The Banff Mountain Film Festival screens at Holy Trinity Church, Devonport Road, Tauranga on June 17 and at Pohutu Cultural Theatre in Rotorua on June 23. Tickets are $20.
