Aotearoa Bike Challenge - join our bike gang!

Halfway through February and all around the country, people are out and about on their bikes, making a special effort to clock up their rides as part of the national Aotearoa Bike Challenge.
Since the start of February 157 businesses have made 5,000 trip and 74,000 kms have been recorded! Lets go for 100,000kms travelled over February as we all Love to Ride!
We love celebrating success here at Sport Bay of Plenty and the following people have won prizes:
Week One: Top Encourager
WBOP - David Maris from Trustpower- $100 voucher from Avanti Plus Mount Maunganui
CBOP- Rachel Doelman from Rotorua Lakes Council - a bike helmet
EBOP - Lorreen Hartley from Whakatane District Council - a bike Adult helmet
Week Two: top new female rider (most kms) and top new male rider (most kms) in each area.
Male: Colin Allcott from Jenkins Freshpac Systems won a $100 voucher thanks to Avanti Plus Mount Maunganui (414 kms)
Female: Cathy Davidson from Tauranga City Council won a $100 voucher thanks to Avanti Plus Mount Maunganui (110 kms)
Male: Scott Lillas from Horizon Energy Distribution Ltd won a 30 minute Sports Massage thanks to Flow Massage Therapy (35 kms)
Female: Robyne Clements from Bay of Plenty District Health Board won a relaxation package voucher thanks to ZEN (112 kms)
Male: Aaron Beckford from Mercury Rotorua won a double pass to the movies thanks to Reading Cinemas (71 kms)
Female: Delia Dephoff from TRG Imaging won a double pass to the movies thanks to Reading Cinemas (50 kms)
