The greater the number of competent coaches we develop, the greater the number of players we will get. Not only that, but with competent coaches, available parents will feel more confident to enrol their children into our sport, as they view structure as an integral part in their child’s development. Growing player numbers will lead to a greater pool of players that we can target for higher performance levels. In turn bringing NZ back as a force as a hockey playing nation.
