BAY OF PLENTY SPORTS AWARDS

The annual Bay of Plenty Sports Awards, hosted by Sport Bay of Plenty, is the regions premiere sports awards ceremony. The awards aim to recognise all aspects of sport with award categories highlighting the superb achievements of sports clubs, administrators, coaches and officials alongside those athletes who are at the top of their sports nationally and internationally.
Each year Sport Bay of Plenty requests nominations from all regional sports organisations, clubs and secondary schools. From these nominations the judges announce a list of finalists with winners and a supreme award winner announced at a prestigious Sports Awards Gala Dinner that honours the Bay of Plenty’s finest athletes, coaches, officials and administrators, outstanding achievements, performances and services to sport.
